Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms apply to any mortgage firm that uses Credit Sorted Pipeline ("the service"), whether hosted by us or run on the firm's own machines. They are a business-to-business agreement: the service is sold to firms, not to consumers. By signing up, or by using the service, the firm agrees to them.

1. Who we are

Credit Sorted is operated as a sole trader by Mustafa Alsoodany, trading address 122 Portswood Road, Southampton, SO17 2FW. Contact: hello@creditsorted.co.uk.

2. What the service is, and is not

The service is software for recording which mortgage-readiness steps a firm's clients have completed, with follow-up dates, notes and a page each client can update.

It does not run credit searches, connect to a credit reference agency, assess affordability, eligibility or suitability, or produce a lending decision. Every figure in it is self-reported and unverified. The firm and its advisers remain wholly responsible for any advice they give and for meeting their own regulatory obligations. Credit Sorted is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not provide regulated advice.

3. Plans and prices

Prices exclude VAT, if any becomes due. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change, and it takes effect from the next billing month.

4. Billing and payment

We invoice monthly in advance for the number of adviser seats on the account. Invoices are due within 14 days. If an invoice is unpaid 14 days after it falls due, we may mark the account as lapsed. A lapsed account keeps every record and can still read, edit, delete, export and print all of it; it cannot add new clients until payment is made. We never withhold a firm's own data from it because of a payment dispute.

5. Accounts and advisers

6. The firm's data

The firm owns the client records it puts into the service. For the hosted plan, the firm is the data controller and we act as its data processor, under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms and is available on request. We use the firm's data only to provide the service; we do not analyse it, sell it, or use it for any purpose of our own.

The firm must not record special category data (health, ethnicity, religious belief, sexual orientation, trade union membership or criminal offence data) in the service.

The firm can export everything it holds, in a machine-readable format, at any time.

7. Acceptable use

The firm must not: use the service unlawfully; try to access another firm's data; probe, overload or disrupt the service; or copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the software. The software is licensed, not sold.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the hosted service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance and outages at our hosting provider can occur. The app keeps working offline on each device and catches up when the connection returns. Support is by email at hello@creditsorted.co.uk on UK working days.

9. Cancelling and ending

The firm can cancel at any time by email; the service continues to the end of the month already paid for, and nothing further is invoiced. We may end the agreement on 30 days' notice, or immediately if the firm seriously breaches these terms.

When a hosted account ends, the firm can export its data up to the end date. We delete all of its data within 30 days of the end date, and if no export has been taken we will send one before deleting.

10. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for lending decisions, advice given by the firm, or loss arising from figures that were entered incorrectly. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or goodwill. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees the firm paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email account owners at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, and the revised date will appear above.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
